# Joshua 1:9 Foundation

> The Joshua 1:9 Foundation is a memorial foundation to remember the life and sacrifice of PFC Joshua M. Islam, USMC.  He gave his life in service to his country.  Now we honor the Lord and remember his service through our mission to build up, strengthen, and encourage everyone we meet.  We carry this mission out by sharing replica dog tags of the one Josh wore which we call God tags.  They bear the verse Joshua 1:9, Be strong and courageous, Do not be afraid, God is with you.
